Alan Finlay, CEO
Alan joined Microsaic
Systems in 2001 to lead the strategic and commercial
aspects of the business.
Alan is a graduate of University College, Dublin (Ireland)
in Mechanical Engineering, moving to AMT Ireland’s
consulting practice where he worked with a range of
clients on product development.
From there Alan joined Agile Software Corporation (NASDAQ:
AGIL), a San Jose business developing software solutions
for the electronics and high technology industry. Joining
Agile’s international sales team, Alan grew its
customer base in Europe finally focusing on strategic
accounts. |

Professor
Eric Yeatman, Director Eric
co-founded Microsaic Systems in 2001 and has been chairman
since 2004 with a special interest in legal and strategic
issues. Since the late 1990s he has sat on the advisory
boards of several investment funds.
Eric Yeatman graduated
from Dalhousie University (Canada) in Physics, and obtained
his PhD from Imperial College in 1989 as a Commonwealth
Scholar. Since then he has been a member of staff and
later deputy head of the Optical and Semiconductor Devices
Group. |

Colin
Nicholl, Director Mr
Nicholl joined Microsaic as Non-Executive Director and
Deputy Chairman in April 2006. He also chairs the Finance
and Audit Committee. A former Chief Investment Officer
of Cazenove Asset Management, he has developed substantial
knowledge of investment practice, global equity markets,
corporate finance and small company management.
Mr Nicholl holds a BA
in Mathematics from the University of York and is an
associate of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries
and the Institute of Actuaries and is an alumnus of
the Kellogg Business School and London School of Economics. |

Mr
Peter Selway, Director Peter
joined the board as a non-executive director in 2001.
Previously he had worked for 35 years at STL/Nortel,
becoming director with responsibility for R&D in
materials and components , with notable achievements
in high reliability optoelectronics, seeing many devices
successfully reach production and application. |

Dr
Andrew Holmes, Director Andrew
co-founded Microsaic Systems in 2001 and has particular
responsibility for engineering. He has also been involved
in the design and development of commercial products
for several major global companies.
Andrew graduated from
Cambridge University in physics, and obtained his PhD
degree in electrical engineering from Imperial College
in 1992. He joined the staff of Imperial College in
1995. His research includes micro-power and micro-turbine
devices. |
